I love the way you can play your own Intros & Endings on the Korg & Roland using one of the intro/ending buttons created for this....it makes the player create such a unique song without the repetitious factory ones all the time...or even use some of the the Pads as an Intro / Ending for some songs if you really want to get creative.

+1 Donny,
And I would add the fade-out and Rit buttons too.

Dennis so true forgot that, or many times I just open a song from a dead start w/o an intro & just play it free style while I vamp & chatter..

Yeah, it adds a certain "Piano Bar" feel, its a method I use as well..eg when I sometimes play a CCR song for example I will maybe just play and sing through the head once and then start the style.

That is a neat feature on the Roland to be able to play over the intro.

It inspired me to create intros in my own custom styles that let me do the same thing with my PSR-3000 and now my cool little PSR-S900.

Maybe Yamaha will take Roland's excellent idea and implement it in the factory styles on the Tyros3.

One of the features I have LONG asked for is a display that shows the chords for a pre-programmed Intro. Having the #2 Intro on Roland's so you can PLAY the chords is very cool, but sometimes I just want to play two handed over the #3 Intro (no pre-recorded solo on the top), but you have to memorize the chord structure as it will not display anything other than the first chord you played.

It would make pulling a less familiar style out of the bag and STILL nailing the Intro a LOT easier, IMO...
